Containers and converted units delivered into Boston and the surrounding Massachusetts towns, where access planning matters more than anywhere else we serve.

Greater Boston is roughly 175 miles from Turner. The drive is routine; the destination rarely is. Urban placements need more planning than anything else we deliver, and the work that makes them succeed happens before the truck is booked rather than on the day.
Many Boston placements need a street occupancy or obstruction permit, a confirmed time window and sometimes a police detail. Those are arranged through the city by you or your contractor, and they have to be in place before the delivery is scheduled. Narrow streets, parked cars, low branches and overhead wires decide what can physically be delivered, and a crane placement is sometimes the only workable answer.
Where a tilt-bed cannot get the clearance, a crane lifts the unit over obstacles into position. It needs a clear lift path, suitable set-up ground for the crane, and coordination between the crane operator and the delivery truck on the same day. It costs more and is quoted separately — but it is often the difference between a delivery that happens and one that does not.
Massachusetts administers its own state building code, and the requirements for an occupied container unit are specific. Expect stamped drawings from an engineer licensed in Massachusetts, an approved foundation detail and full energy-code compliance. Start that conversation with the local building department before you order anything.
Outside the dense core — along 128, 495 and the industrial belts — placement is far simpler, and this is where most of our Massachusetts work goes. Hardstanding, room to turn and a site contact who can receive the delivery is all that is usually needed.
Send the address, the placement point, photographs of the street and approach, the width of any gate or alley, overhead clearance, and confirmation of whether a street permit or detail is required and who is arranging it. The more of that we have up front, the more accurate the quote and the likelier the delivery lands first time.
Yes, with access planning. Street permits, time windows and sometimes a police detail are arranged by you or your contractor before the delivery is booked.
When a tilt-bed cannot get the straight clearance it needs, or the unit has to clear a fence, wall or building. It is quoted separately and coordinated on the same day as the delivery.
A building permit, stamped drawings from an engineer licensed in Massachusetts, an approved foundation detail and energy-code compliance. The local building department is the authority.
Freight reflects the route, the equipment and the unloading method. Longer routes and urban access cost more than an open commercial lot. The figure is set out in your written quote.
Send the delivery address, the placement point and a photo of the approach.
